Results! Intermittent Fasting

After 2 months, I have lost more than 2kgs (4.5 lbs).

My body fat has dropped by 2%.

And best of all, my belly has shrunk, a lot! My belt now buckles on the last hole. It’s a size medium.

And all that I’ve been doing is fasting from about 8 at night to about midday the next day. Every single day for the last 2 months.

Black coffee has become my friend. And I eat whatever I like. I generally break my fast with a light meal, such as rice cakes, cottage cheese and avocado pear. Or some cheese and biscuits. At night, I have dinner with my family. There is no doubt that my calorie consumption has dropped quite a bit.

At first, I found it really hard to fast on weekends, especially when cooking breakfast for my daughter. I have only once in the last 2 months broken my fast to have breakfast with her. But now we have both got used to me drinking black coffee while she eats. And I’ve found that I generally fast for longer on weekends now. One Sunday I fasted for more than 19 hours!

I am happy to keep this up to see how far I get.
